Bare Ground Programs

The pre-emergent herbicide application is an annual treatment to areas where bare ground is necessary or desired.  Many right-of-way sites need to be kept clean for improved line-of-sight for motorists, fire hazard reduction, protection of critical infrastructure, employee safety, and for the professional appearance of well-groomed and easily accessible grounds. The investment of maintaining a site by the use of pre-emergence herbicides is generally significantly less than applying post-emergence herbicides throughout the season. Our "under-asphalt" treatments applied immediately prior to paving, protect pavement from destructive vegetation for years to come.

Noxious Weed & Brush Control

Post-emergent applications involve weed and brush control along roadsides, irrigation ditch banks, power line corridors, recreational trails, and other areas requiring visibility, safety, and operational access.  Many right-of-way sites are prime candidates for the spread of undesirable weed seeds which accumulate on vehicles, pedestrians, and wildlife. At the customer's request, we often communicate directly with noxious weed control boards to save you time, meet their objectives, and reduce call-backs.  Benefits of post- emergent treatments include reducing the infestation/spread of noxious weeds, selective weeding of broadleaf weeds, release of existing grasses, and preventing brush from encroaching on critical infrastructure.
